🏰 Why Choose a Transparent Brick Stain?
“Lasur” known as a Transparent finish, is not a limewash, watered-down paint, or any other gimmick—it’s built on advanced potassium silicate waterglass technology. This innovative formula provides unmatched UV protection, unlike limewash or traditional paints, while delivering a natural, breathable finish. You can customize its transparency by diluting any of our Masonry Stains with Fixativ, up to 90%. Fixativ acts as a thinner without compromising color longevity, unlike conventional thinners that often cause fading. You can apply to any Stone, Brick, Concrete Block, Precast along with any Masonry Substrate that is able to absorb water.
🏰 Preserve Natural Beauty
Brick Stain along with any Masonry stain, is ideal for preserving the character and texture. We use this method for color-matching old and new brick, as well as for clients who want the original color of masonry to remain visible in the background. Fixativ allows the color to blend seamlessly, while maintaining transparency, which can be adjusted by mixing the right amount of Fixativ with our Masonry Stains.
🏰 How Can I achieve a Transparent look?
Simply adjust your ratios, from 10% up to 90%, mixing our Masonry Stain with Fixativ. You can take one quart of our Masonry Stain and add 1/2 a quart of our Fixativ for example. While you can dilute our Eco-Prim up to 10%, it has different properties from our Fixativ, which keep the color and finish ,much longer, preventing degradation over time.
✨ Lasting Finish
Traditional Lime Paint and or Latex/Acrylic paints, when solid in color or diluted, will fade over time, opposed to Potassium Silicate Brick and Masonry Stain, that achieves a much longer effect, via silicification, when Mineral Pigment along with Water Glass “Potassium Silicate” bind and crystalize within the top layer and convert the color, that can last 20 years or more, depending on building conditions. Unlike solid stains, adding Fixativ creates a transparent finish that enhances the underlying color and texture, resulting in a dynamic and authentic look. When applying our Masonry Stain, on restoration projects, in order to match the color and shade of the original brick, applying a transparent finish will achieve the best result.
🛠️ Effortless Application
Transparent Brick Stain finish is designed for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts. Its application is as straightforward as staining wood, making it easy to achieve stunning results. Any of our Masonry Stains, including Sol-Silicate and Photocatalytic can be used with our Fixativ.
